On May 2 of this year Step uP Chattanooga began teaching a 12 session Faith & Finances class at the Day Reporting Center/Rehabilitative Services for the Tennessee Department of Corrections, a one-stop center which provides services and resources to any offender under the supervision of Community Supervision. Services are available to offenders released from a TDOC prison within their first year.

Our class is not mandatory as it is faith based, but we continue to have active participation, transparency, as well as an increase of trust and confidence.  As this is a new initiative in Chattanooga please pray with us as we share our faith, teach practical biblical principles with finances, and that our participants will feel led to make positive small changes in their lives, and the lives of their family members.
